Description

The project generally consists of grading and installation of a two-lane to three lane roadway widening along a section of Sage Road with demolition, clearing/grubbing, grading, roadway installation, final stabilization and associated miscellaneous work all within the City owned ROW in the City of White House, TN. Bid Bonds have been excluded from this bid requirement. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance Bond shall be in full force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project by the City of White House. Each Bidder must be appropriately licensed as a Contractor in the State of Tennessee as provided in T.C.A. 62-6-101. The Bidder's name, license number, expiration date, and that part of the contracting classification applying to the Bid shall appear on the sealed envelope containing the Bid; otherwise, the Bid shall not be opened. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each Bidder shall make positive efforts and are encouraged to use small and minority owned business enterprises on this project. The City of White House reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any presented which meet or exceed these specifications, and/or which would be in the best interest of the City and will not necessarily be bound to accept the low bid. Pre-bid questions will be received formally in writing via post or email until COB (Call of Business) August 29th at CSR Engineering, Inc., 2010 Hwy. 49E, Pleasant View, TN 37146 (c/o Jason Reynolds) or email at jason.reynolds@csrengineers.com. Demolition, clearing, grubbing of portions of existing infrastructure features to allow for the project installations Installation of primary roadway widening and driveway connection requirements All other associated miscellaneous details and ancillary items detailed in plans Protect, repair or replace all surface material and similarly affected existing infrastructure as may be affected during the construction of the primary project and not intended to be affected by the project Receive inspections and acceptance by the City and place into operation the project facilities shown in plans in accordance with specifications The project generally consists of a new roadway widening installation within the existing city ROW to be performed as new construction.
