Description

This work shall consist of the installation of a 12,000-gallon aviation fuel Avgas tank with pump/filtration system and connection to existing Avgas curbside fuel handling equipment. The fueling system shall be constructed and installed in accordance with the local, state and federal requirements. The tank shall meet the latest UL standards for storage of petroleum products and be properly labeled. Outer head to be separate from the inner tank with thickness and construction in accordance with UL-142. Provisions shall be made for monitoring an area between the inner tank and outer head, as well as normal and emergency venting of both primary and outer tanks. Double-wall tank is to be provided with lift lugs and sufficient support saddles per manufacturer recommendations. The contractor shall provide & install the above ground storage tank with pump/filtration system and connect to the existing Avgas curbside dispenser. Grounding system, sorbent materials, testing and all other incidentals necessary to place the system in complete, first class operating condition. Acceptance of the project after construction is contingent upon successful completion of the commissioning process.
