Description | The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete the room 211 expansion in Building 5 at Sheridan VAMC located at 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership, and control enough to establish appropriate status. Offerors must be both VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs CVE at the time of offer submission. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz at the time of offer submission and contract award will result in the offeror's proposal being deemed non-compliant. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM), Prospective contractors shall be registered in the SAM database prior to close of solicitation. MT A site visit will be held on April 6th, 2023, at 2:00 P.M.(MT). Meet in the VAMC, Building 5 FMS Conference Room 219. Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors. All submitted proposals must be received in email by the closing date and time. This solicitation closes April 18th, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. MT Proposals shall be submitted via e-mail in accordance with Part I/Section B, to be considered for this project. Offers received in any other format will result in the offeror's proposal not receiving further consideration. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project to remove existing walls in preparation for further room expansion of room 211 in Building 5. The VA has a need to demolish a section of wall dividing rooms 211 and 208 in Building 5. This is preparatory work for a more expanded future project to renovate both rooms into a larger workspace. This project requires the demolition of a 24LFT x 12' tall wallboard and stud wall section. Remove and relocate existing electrical receptacles (mostly connected through wire-molding), a fire alarm strobe, and any other elements found within the walls. The sections of the walls to remain shall be refinished and painted to match the existing wall colors, the floor shall be cleared and prepped for a section of replacement carpet. The carpet selection shall be coordinated with the onsite VA Interior Designer prior to installation. New ceiling tile shall be used to close-up the exposed section of suspended ceiling opened by the wall removal. 1. General a. Construction project is to be completed within thirty (30) calendar days from date of notice to proceed. b. Contractor shall provide all equipment, material and labor required for demolition work, providing negative pressure environment for work, providing new room finishes as indicated in the plans and specifications per VA construction standards. c. Safety submittals shall be complete prior to the commencement of onsite construction work. Material selection submittals shall be complete and approved prior to ordering of materials for the project. d. The building tenants not in the construction areas will remain at work in the buildings during this construction. Patients are not normally on the second floor of Building 5 areas but, in all areas not under construction, the contractor shall make patient safety and infection control measures a priority. The contractor shall coordinate work locations and schedules with VA to minimize impact to building tenants. e. All electrical, carpentry, architectural, mechanical work, product design, project management and other work needed on this project shall be provided by the contractor. All electrical work low, medium or high voltage will be installed and terminated by the contractor. i. No wiring or cabling shall be abandoned in place. ii. All piping, cabling, and wiring shall be labeled. f. The installation must, as a minimum, be in accordance with all applicable codes indicated in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Design Manuals and VA |
