Description

Red Cliff is seeking to contract with a General Contractor to construct a 6,300 sq. ft. building. The facility includes an Event Hall, Entry Vestibule, Kitchen, Storage Room, Mechanical Room, IT room, and Men's and Women's Restrooms. See detailed specifications in Project Manual and construction documents. Red Cliff reserves the right to select the proposal(s) deemed to best meet the requirements of the Tribe, which may not necessarily be the lowest cost proposal(s) and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time during the evaluation process. 1. A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent to five percent (5%) of the bid price. The "bid guarantee" must be a firm commitment in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument as assurance that the bidder is prepared to execute a contract within the time specified for the bid amount. 2. A performance bond from the (sub)contractor for one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price to secure the subcontractor's fulfillment of all obligations under the contract. 3. A payment bond from the sub(contractor) for one-hundred percent of the contract price to assure payment of all persons supplying labor and material under the contract.
