Description | As of November 14, 2022, the project has been awarded and construction is expected to commence in December, 2022. Project number - 21030 This 24-hour operating fire station will be approximately 10,740 square feet in size and will include 4 apparatus bays, living and sleeping quarters for 5 personnel, a small public vestibule, and commensurate working areas for personnel. The estimated cost range for this project is $7,000,000 - $7,300,000. The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manuals, and Addenda as may be issued prior to bid opening date. Work listings received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening. To best comply with current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, meeting participants are required to adhere to the following: do not attend if not feeling well or currently COVID-19 positive, provide and wear own personal protective equipment (PPE) including face mask, and maintain six-foot social distancing as feasible. This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents. At Bidder's sole expense, additional sets of Drawings and Project Manuals can be obtained from the American Reprographics Company (ARC) Public Plan Room you can visit their office located at 632 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402, telephone (253) 383-6363 fax (253) 272-4064. A Bid Security must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid deemed best for them.
