Description | Question Deadline 12/30/2022 at 4:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this invitation to bid must be emailed to Sean Howard, howards@cityofnewportrichey.org. The project contemplated involves construction of improvements consisting of the following major components: The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, services, etc. necessary to construct and install miscellaneous potable water mains, wastewater force mains, gravity sewer, reclaimed water mains and appurtenances for the City of New Port Richey Public Works Department. The work will be in different locations within the City of New Port Richey service area and will be assigned to the Contractor based on Work Order Authorization. A detailed scope of work and/or set of drawings will be provided for each Work Order Authorization. Bids must be submitted by the date and time indicated. Bids not submitted by that time will be refused. The City of New Port Richey reserves the right to waive any and all bids received. To ensure that Bidders receive all addenda and/or clarifications to the Bid Documents in a timely manner, it is mandatory that all bidders provide an e-mail to the City Construction Project Manager, Sean Howard and obtain at least one set of Bid Documents from the City to be eligible to bid on this project. Addendum will be issued by e-mail; therefore, it is imperative that the bidder provide his/her email to the Engineer of Record. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents. All Bid Bonds, Contract Bonds, Insurance Contracts and Certificates of Insurance shall be either executed by or countersigned by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company having his/her place of business in the State of Florida. Further, the said surety or insurance company shall be duly licensed and qualified to do business in the State of Florida. In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold or obtain such Contractors and Business Licenses as required by Florida state statues. Before a Contract will be awarded for the work contemplated herein, the Owner will conduct such investigations as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low Bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under the Contract. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the Owner to evaluate the Bidders qualifications. The right is reserved to reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time, which, however, shall not extend beyond ninety (90) days from the Proposal opening date. |
