2022 Facade Project No.2

The Town of Skowhegan Economic and Community Development office is announcing the following projects; being financed by a CDBG Grant to the Town Skowhegan. The CDBG Grant is a HUD Grant and depending on the value of each project all contractors will be following either the $10,000 and under or the $10,001 to 100,000 Federal contract provisions. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive and responsible bidder. Contractors will carry all required insurances for projects. Davis Bacon Wage rates are in effect, copy of determination will be provided. Projects: Project 1 : Repair to the Soffit and freeze boards on back of tower, Prepare, prime and finish painting of the tower. Project 2: Repair/replace rotten trim boards, exterior walls to be painted gray in color with black trim. Contractors can bid on one project or both projects, but each bid must be separated per project, there is no group bid on this project. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting for Project 1 and Project 2: October 28 at 9:00 am starting at 147 Madison Ave. Skowhegan, ME 04976 and finish at 33 Main St. Skowhegan, ME 04976.
