Description

Set Aside: Competitive 8(a). The objective of this project is to replace the existing trail boardwalk as shown in the Issued for Construction Drawings and Specifications dated October 10, 2018. The wider accessible boardwalk trail will improve the Refuge’s ability to provide a variety of excellent wildlife-dependent recreational activities and a variety of interpretive programs. The scope of work involves furnishing all materials, labor and equipment necessary to remove and properly dispose (off-site) the existing trail boardwalk and provide materials for and install the new trail boardwalk. Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, security, travel, labor, materials, tools, equipment and resources necessary to replace the boardwalk in accordance with the Issued for Construction Drawings and Specifications and Statement of Work. Contractor is responsible for erosion control, spill prevention and cleanup, fire protection, and safety and security measures. The Contractor shall comply with local, tribal, State and Federal safety, health, and environmental requirements. The majority of the work areas are narrow as shown on the drawings. Access to the work area is along the existing trails as designated by the Refuge. The Contractor is responsible for providing and maintaining adequate sanitation facilities to its employees while work is in progress.
