Lorings Crossing Bridge Replacement

Replacement of Loring Crossing Bridge over East Branch Tioughnioga River PIN 3755.43, BIN 3312300 D036170 The projects limits extend from: approximately 1315 feet west of the bridge to 635 feet east of the existing bridge. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: The project consists of the replacing of the two-span existing bridge carrying Loring Crossing over East Branch Tioughnioga River in the Town of Cortlandville with a new structure. The proposed bridge will consist of a single span, multiple steel girder with composite concrete deck superstructure. The superstructure will be supported by cast-in-place concrete integral abutments founded on driven steel H-piles. Approximately 1950 linear feet of the approach highway will be reconstructed as part of the project. The work on the approaches includes full and partial depth roadway reconstruction and installation of guide railing.
