Description | Repairs to the existing 65 West Pump Station including demolition of operating floor slab, electrical equipment, doors, and other damaged elements of the station; underslab piping repairs/replacement including plumbing drains and electrical conduits; subsurface soil stabilization beneath perimeter footings and operating floor; new power systems including 480V power panel, pump starters, main service disconnect switch, automatic transfer switch, and lighting panel; RTU cabinet with SCADA/communication network equipment including switches and instruments; motorized louver with actuator and controls for ventilation system; hydraulic actuators for pump control valves; flow meter and appurtenances; and site grading to address erosion from failure event. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Neither Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or sufficiency of any Bidding Documents obtained from any source other than the Issuing Office. Obtaining these documents from any source other than the Issuing Office may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining these documents from any source other than the Issuing Office may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to the Bidding Documents that may be issued. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Compliance with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utility Commission's Minority and Women Business Enterprise program is required on this Contract. MBE/WBE program requirements are included in the Bidding Documents. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or any portion of any bid they deem necessary for the best interest of the City, to accept any item or group of items unless qualified by the bidder, to acquire additional quantities at prices quoted on the Bid Form.
