US Coast Guard Station Belle Isle Boiler Replacement

The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required to remove existing boiler Burnham V-9 Series Model KV909-WNG and replace as defined in paragraph 1.3 located at USCG Station Belle Isle, 50 The Strand Dr., Detroit, MI 48207. 1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing boiler in Stations Basement. 2. Remove all parts not used for new boiler type. 3. Install in kind boiler replacement as per manufacturer’s instructions. 4. Connect to existing city water supply. 5. Connect to existing gas source and update gas valve as needed. All affected gas lines will be inspected for leaks. 6. Connect to rear mounted exhaust flue. 7. Connect to existing thermostat controller. 8. Flush pipes of debris and treat water. 9. Commission and perform test to ensure the replacement functions in accordance with Manufacturers specifications.
