Description

As of September 20, 2023, it is for selling the properties not for renovation. 2002 Walters Avenue is located at the gateway to the central downtown business district in the Village of Northbrook ("Village") and offers great proximity to the Metra Milwaukee North Line stop in Northbrook, area shopping and dining. The Village owned parcel totals approximately 14,495 square feet and is located on the NE corner of the Walters Avenue and 1st Street intersection. The Village considers this to be a unique opportunity to renovate and repurpose the existing single story office building or redevelopment of the property with a use that compliments its residential neighbors through either continued use by a community based organization or a new use that will rejuvenate a property that has been used for various local government and civic activities since at least the 1920s.
