Nicholas Parkway (East) Improvements

The replacement of an existing PVC water main with 16” ductile iron water main, installation of new drainage structures and associated piping, superelevation of portions of Nicholas Parkway East, and resurfacing within the project limits, which extends approximately one and two-tenths (1.2) miles from Santa Barbara Boulevard to Country Club Boulevard. The roadway portion of the project involves the construction of various median and roadway improvements to include, but not limited to, superelevation of noted sections of the roadway, pavement reconstruction, as needed, installing curb and gutter, traffic separators, and landscaping. The Work also includes the removal and replacement of noted driveways and sidewalks, construction of drainage infrastructure and swale work, placement of IT conduit and pull boxes, and the adjustment of existing utilities. The roadway portion of the project will also include the milling and resurfacing of Nicholas Parkway from Santa Barbara Blvd. to County Club Blvd. Along with the resurfacing the Work includes such items as replacement of existing striping, markings, signal loops, and RPM’s.
