Description

Scope of Work of the Contract includes the Construction of Candela South Water & Wastewater Plant Facilities. The Water Plant work includes a system capable of serving 400 connections, including but not limited to development of well providing 240 gpm or greater, 150,000-gallon bolted steel ground storage tank including foundation and vinyl development logo; hydropneumatic tanks including foundations; horizontal split case booster pumps, including foundations; FRP buildings including foundations; disinfection equipment; plant piping; wood fence and gate with masonry columns; concrete pavement; electrical, instrumentation and control work including service; protective coatings; site drainage, clearing & grubbing of site; fill and grading; hydromulch; diesel engine generator with weatherproof sound attenuated enclosure and 24 hour sub base fuel tank, automatic transfer switch; pre-engineeredcanopy; driveway; temporary plant site fencing; coordination with CenterPoint for incoming service and modifications; and all additional items needed for a complete and operational system, complete as specified in the lease agreement. Clearing and grubbing consists of removal and disposal of trees, stumps, brush, roots, vegetation, logs, rubbish, and other objectionable matter within the plant site. For construction contracts $50,000 and over, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, on behalf of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 229 (the "District") with a printed, executed and notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) with the bid. Failure to do so will result in the District's inability to execute the contract.
