Description | The Lauderdale County Board of Supervisors(herein after called the Owner) invite bids on the (proposal) form enclosed herein, all blanks on which must be appropriately filled in. Any proposal packets received after closing time will not be viewed or opened. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must include the Project Name. The attention of prospective bidders is directed to all State fees and taxes required for the privilege of doing business within the State. The name of the Project is NEW RESTROOM FACILITY AT Q.V. SYKES PARK. Primary items of work consist of a new restroom facility, approximately 208 square feet (11'-4'' x 18'-4'') in size and utility connections to the facility at the site located within Q.V. Sykes Park in Meridian, MS. The owner intends to award bid within thirty (30) days if within available project funds. Bidders are instructed that the lump sum bid must include all work items necessary to complete the project. Basis of award will be to the lowest and best bid which is in the best interest of the owner. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all damage done to any existing facility on-site or to any property of whatever kind by his equipment. The operation of equipment of such weight, or so loaded, as to cause damage to roadways, pavements, structures, shoulders, or any other type construction will be conducted at the successful Bidders risk. When, or where any direct or indirect damage is done in the execution of the work by the successful bidder, he shall restore or replace at his expense such facility or property to a condition similar or equal to that existing before such damage was done by repairing, rebuilding, or otherwise restoring as may be directed by the engineer. Insurance Requirements: Before doing any work under the purchase order for this project, the contractor and any subcontractors shall furnish proof of the following insurance with limits equal or in excess of those specified at the time of submitting bid. |
