New City Multipurpose Facility

Proposed New City Multi- Purpose Facility at, 836 North Main Street (Tx. Hwy 96) Lumberton. Texas 77657. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received and to accept the bid most advantageous to the City. The project consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required to provide new pre-engineered metal structure, on new concrete slab and supporting parking area. Included are new interior met at stud partitions, drywall, plywood panels, trim work, cabinets, painting, Hollow metal door frames and metal doors, fabricated iron framing, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Etc. as shown in the Contract Documents. To include, ADD Alternates for Impact glass and framing system for exterior of bldg. Demolition and removal of existing building, Slabs, asphalt parking area on construction site. Removal and relocation of covered parking area at rear of Police Dept. to allow for concrete parking expansion for the new facility. Asphalt parking at front of city hall will be replaced with new concrete surface. Roadway at rear of city hall will also be replaced with new concrete surface. A cashiers check or certified check on a State or national bank in The State of Texas payable without recourse to The City of Lumberton, or an acceptable Surety Proposal Bond, in an amount not less than (5%) of the largest possible total bid, including consideration of alternates, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract. No bidders may withdraw a bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
