Description | Franklin County, North Carolina, (County) is constructing a new Emergency Communications Center (ECC) located at 287 T Kemp Road, Louisburg, NC 27549. A key part of this project is to modernize the public safety communications center dispatch console workstations. The project will furnish new console furniture that will enhance the telecommunicator's ergonomic interface and comfort, properly address current and future technology integration requirements, and enhance the room's aesthetic. Deadline for submission of questions May 23, 2022, 5:00 p.m. Intent to award July 11, 2022 - August 26, 2022 Anticipated installation start date November 1, 2022, based on construction The County staff will relocate to the new facility after construction is completed, the new motorized sit/stand console furniture is installed, and all technology is deployed in the new consoles and in the ECC. The project will occur in a single continuous phase to allow staff to move into the new center as quickly as possible. The date and time for the submittals of questions and for the submittal of bids as set forth in this RFP shall be deemed mandatory. The failure to meet all submittal dates as set forth shall constitute a defect in the submission, which shall be grounds for rejection as non-responsive. The failure to meet any submittal dates shall not be considered a waivable irregularity, omission, or informality. |
