RFP - Village of Palatine Comprehensive Plan Update

The Village of Palatine, with a current estimated population of 68,000, was incorporated in 1866. The Village is located approximately 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, along Metra's Union Pacific Northwest Line, and conveniently located near O'Hare Airport, Route 53, and Interstate 90. The Village enjoys a strong quality of life and boasts outstanding park districts (Palatine and Salt Creek Park Districts), school districts (Community Consolidated School District 15 and Township High School District 211), and public library system (Palatine Library District). The Village of Palatine is also home to Harper College, with an enrollment of 22,600 for-credit students and 6,500 continuing education students.
