Calcium Hydroxide Slurry

The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for the following chemical: Calcium Hydroxide Slurry Contracts will be for a period of one (1) year from the date of Contract with option for renewal. Each bid must be enclosed in an appropriately marked and sealed envelope and must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. All bids shall be made on Bid Forms furnished with the Invitation to Bid, and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that, if a bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a Contract. On bids for services, or where quantities are not determined, a bid security of five hundred dollars ($500.00) will be required. A Performance Bond may be required on Contracts for professional services. On bids that are rejected, the bid security will be promptly returned to the Bidder. The bid security will be returned to the successful bidders upon proper execution of the Contract. The Safety Service Director reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid that will serve the best interests of the City of Celina, Ohio.
