Description This project, located in Cecil County, is for the construction of a portion of U.S. 40 (Pulaski Highway). Beginning at the Intersection of U.S. 40 and MD 7 (Delaware Avenue) and extending in an easterly direction to east of Melbourne Boulevard for a total distance 0.33 miles. This project is to improve safety for pedestrians and motorists within the project limits, specifically those motorists making turning maneuvers from US 40 onto Maloney Road. The work will consist of the following; Provide ADA Compliant Sidewalk and Curb and Gutter; Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control; Signage and Pavement Markings; Upgrades to Traffic Signals; Maintenance of Traffic; Median Turn Lane; Bicycle Compatibility.
