| Description | This greenway project will developed the first 2 miles of greenway of Reedy Creek Greenway. This greenway section will connect area residents to Reedy Creek Park, Reedy Creek Nature Preserve, Central Piedmont Community School, JW Grier Elementary School, and a Nature Center. As of September 29, 2022, this project is included in the Mecklenburg County's FY 2023 Budget CIP and funding is allotted for FY 2022 and FY 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
