2021 Belleville Dam Repair

Erosion control plans and measures. Construct concrete walls downstream of the existing dam. Provide downstream containment of the grout in the non-wall area as well as the new concrete wall areas. Grout the void under existing dam. All holes that are needed are included and sealing the holes when done is also included. There are several existing holes in the dam slab that can be used for grouting. All existing holes must be sealed when complete. Construct upstream grout wall and necessary tie into the existing dam for upstream cutoff wall down to bedrock. Several areas of the existing concrete dam are noted to be repaired. This includes the re-attachment of existing handrail. Provide Xypex coating to the exposed faces of the fixed crest section of the dam that grouting is being done. Existing culvert outlet will be re-directed from running along the downstream side of the dam to a separate swale. The swale will use TRM Type III Class D across the park and riprap medium over geotextile Type HR at the streambank.
