Design of New 300,000 Gallon Well No.4 Ground Storage Tank

The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: 1. Construct a new 300,000 Gallon steel welded ground storage tank and appurtenances with new exterior coating system including the abrasive blasting and new interior coating including the surface preparation and abrasive blasting. 2. Demolish an existing 250,000-gallon welded steel water tank, a hydropneumatic tank, pump building number 2 and remove existing piping as show on Drawing C3.0. Work to include removal and disconnecting of all electric and control wiring and panels, piping, equipment and other items related to the particular structure. Underground piping to be removed within the limit as shown on Drawing C7.0. All demolished items to be property of the Contractor and shall be removed of from the site. Contractor shall include costs related to securing demolition permits and coordinating demolition work with various impacted utility companies. 3. Install new piping for the connection from the Well to the new interior inlet pipe and exterior piping from the proposed Ground Storage Tank to the pump station. 4. Install new inlet pipe. 5. Install new outlet pipe. 6. Install new drain pipe. 7. Install new exterior roof hatch on roof. 8. Install two new access manway hatches on the Tank wall. 9. Install new interior and exterior ladder with cable climb fall protection system. 10. Install new roof guardrail with new landing for access with swing door. 11. Install new roof vent. 12. Install new roof railing. 13. Install new perimeter chain link fence with new gate. 14. Electrical improvements. 15. Install new chlorine piping and injection points. 16. Miscellaneous Site Improvements as shown in the Contract Documents.
