Description | JAXPORT is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms interested in and capable of providing a Co- Location Site. The Co-Location Site will serve to Co-Locate, Live Systems, Disaster Recovery, and Primary Internet Connection. As such vendor should be equipped to provide the following: A. Redundant dark-fiber links between JAXPORT’s main office building located at 2831 Talleyrand Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32206 and the co-location facility. The connection must be comprised of two physically divergent paths*. JAXPORT will provide all necessary equipment to converge the hand-offs at both the JAXPORT main offices and the Co-Location facility. B. As the Co-Location site will also function as the primary Internet connection for The Port Authority, JAXPORT is seeking to lease 1-gigabit DIA (Direct Internet Access) and a contiguous /24 address prefix, with the intent to purchase said or a different prefix upon acquisition of an ASN. C. Vendor agrees to provide bandwidth to and peer with JAXPORT upon acquisition of an ASN. *It is permissible that one of the paths provided be a dedicated gigabit wireless link in lieu of a secondary dark fiber run. |
