No Pre-Bid Meeting Installation of traffic calming devices to include asphalt speed cushions and associated pavement markings. Construction will be completed in two (2) phases: Phase 1: September / October 2022 Phase 2: October / November 2022 The City's Asheville Business Inclusion Policy and the City's Drug-Free Workplace Policy will be explained during the virtual pre-bid meeting. The Asheville Business Inclusion Policy requires Minority and Women Business Enterprise outreach on City contracts. Additionally, N.C.G.S. 143-128.2 requires minority and women business outreach for building construction projects requiring the below provided information to be reported to the State of North Carolina Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB). The City of Asheville reserves the right to postpone bid openings for its own convenience.
