Description | The Site of the Work is Located in the Town of St. Regis, Montana on Either Side of the Clark Fork River. Along the West Side of the River, The Work Will Occur Along Two Rivers Road, Near the St. Regis Fishing Access Site. On the East Side of the River, the Work Will Occur Along Smith Ranch Road, Near the Intersection With Mill Creek Road. The Work Generally Includes the Replacement of A Damaged Sewer Force Main Crossing Under the Clark Fork River. The Project is Comprised Of Two Bid Schedules, One for General Work and One for Project Activities. The Project Work to Replace the Sewer Main Crossing Includes: Partial Removal of the Existing Sewer Force Main, Sanitation and Abandonment of the Remaining Portion Of the Existing Main, Temporary Sewage Transfer, Installation of A Sewer Force Main With 8" Dr9 Hpde via Directional Drilling and Trenching and 6" Dr11 Hdpe via Trenching, Installation of 2 Hdpe Transition Restraints, Installation Of 1 Automatic Air Release and Vacuum Valve, and Connection Of the New Main to the Existing System on Either Side of the River. The Project Also Includes: Installation of a 2" Pvc Gravity Sewer Service Line, Installation Of a 4" Pvc Sewer Service Stub, Temporary Gravel Road Construction, Gravel Road Patching, Asphalt Pavement Patching, Clearing and Grubbing Along Construction Areas, and Site Restoration. The Project is Funded By an Arpa Minimum Allocation Grant, Srf Loan, and the St. Regis Sewer District and is Subject to All Applicable State and Local Regulations as Indicated Within the Specifications. All Work Must Be Substantially Complete Within 90 Calendar Days After the Commencement Date Stated in The Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed is Flexible, With Completion Required by December 30th, 2023. The Contractor and Any of The Contractor's Subcontractors Doing Work on This Project Will Be Required to Obtain Registration With the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (Dli) Except As Listed in Mca 39-9-211. Information on Registration Can Be Obtained From the Dli by Calling 1-406-444-7734. The Contractor Is Required to Have Registered With the Dli Prior to Bidding on This Project. Each Bid or Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Or Bid Bond Payable to the St. Regis Sewer District, in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. Successful Bidders Shall Furnish an Approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Insurance, as Required, Shall Be Provided by the Successful Bidder(S) and a Certificate(S) of That Insurance Shall Be Provided. Srf Loan Program is Funding The Project in Whole or in Part, Therefore Federal and State Laws Require That Each Employer Pay, as a Minimum, Prevailing Wages for Each Classification In Accordance With the Federal Labor Standards Provisions (Davis-bacon) or Montana Prevailing Wage Requirements, Whichever is Greater. A Copy of Said Wage Rates Are Included as Part of the Contract Documents.
