Description

This work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and transporting all materials, equipment, permits, and labor necessary for: 1. Hydraulic suction dredging of approximately 7,550 cubic yards (measured in-situ) of soft accumulated organic material (muck). The muck sediment layer consists of fine grained silts, clays and organic material. 2. Dredging is occurring in residential channels, there is limited room to contain dredge spoils. Contractor will be required to find appropriate disposal of muck material. 3. Contractor will need to ensure there are no impacts from the dredging activity that cause exceedances of turbidity standards in the lake itself 4. Contractor will be responsible for acquiring permits from Environmental Protection Commission (EPC) and South West Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).
