Boyd Theater Mixed-Use Redevelopment

The scope of work includes the demolition of an existing theater and the construction of a new mixed-use development to include apartments and 6,500 square feet of lower-level retail. The project is in the final planning stage. The project received City Council approvals in October 2021. The project received grant money for the project in December 2020. An architect and general contractor have been selected. Demolition of the existing building began in February 2022, and has been completed. Construction started in late Spring 2022 and is currently on-going.
