Description

1.1 It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for window cleaning services at the following locations: 1.1.1 City Hall, 30 Church Street Clean all EXTERIOR & INTERIOR windows including both sides of Church Street entrance canopy, vestibule glass doors, sidelights, transoms, atrium skylight windows and link windows and skylight roof portion of the link entrance. A. Windows of the south (A) wing are double hung sash fixed in place with interior framed storm sash secured with screws. B. Windows of the north (B) wing are of a pivoting type. Locking keys will be provided to Contractor by maintenance personnel. 1.1.2 Public Safety Building, 185 Exchange Blvd. Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERIOR WINDOWS on the north, east, and south sides of the building including the outside of the spandrels and all outside glass over the Exchange Blvd. entrance canopy. A. Windows on the north side must be cleaned using platforms from the roof following the New York State Industrial Code Rule 21. B. Many interior offices are not accessible without special arrangements and supervision. C. 80% of the interior windows have vertical blinds. 1.1.3 Water Bureau, 10 Felix Street A. Clean all exterior windows including vestibule glass doors, sidelights and transoms. B. Windows are single glazed, sliding units, some with window air-conditioning units. 1.1.4 Rundel Memorial Library Building, 115 South Avenue Clean all EXTERIOR windows including vestibule glass doors, sidelights and transoms. In addition, all frames, sills and mullions shall be cleaned once per year. Windows on the river side shall be cleaned from the inside. A. There are approximately 300 windows of various types to be washed in on the first, second and third floors, the Mezzanine and the upper and lower stacks. 1.1.5 Bausch & Lomb Library Building: 114 South Avenue A. Clean all EXTERIOR windows including doors, sidelights and transoms. In addition, all frames, sills and mullions shall be cleaned once per year. 1.) There are four floors of windows of various types and sizes to be washed. B. Clean all INTERIOR and EXTERIOR windows on the curtain wall. C. Clean Atrium side of Children’s Center glass wall. D. Clean interior west wall from the 2nd through 4th floor. 1.1.6 Sully Branch Library: 530 Webster Avenue A. Clean all Exterior windows, frames, sills and mullions once per year, from Webster Avenue door (not included) North to Parking Lot entrance (not included) of the Library 1.1.7 Emergency Communications, 321 W. Main St. Windows and panels shall be streak-free. All sills will be wiped clean of any residue after cleaning. A. Clean all glass in entry and foyer inside and out. B. Clean thermo plate windows without transoms. C. Clean thermo plate windows with top transoms and screens. D. Clean inside partitions. E. Clean spandrel panels. 1.1.8 NSC - 500 Norton Street Clean all EXTERIOR windows including doors, sidelights and transoms. 1.1.9 NSC - 998 Genesee Street Clean all EXTERIOR windows including doors, sidelights and transoms. 1.1.10 Tactical Section/Canine Unit – 261 Child Street Clean all EXTERIOR windows including doors, sidelights and transoms. 1.1.11 Building Services/Records Management, 414 Andrews Street A. Clean all Interior and Exterior glass surfaces on second floor, South side (Andrews Street), East side (driveway), West side (parking lot) and North side (expressway), Building Services windows only. 1.1.12 Solid Waste and Training Center, 210 Colfax Street Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERIOR WINDOWS of offices and meeting spaces on the west, south and east sides of the building. This excludes windows in any overhead door. 1.1.13 Central Vehicle Maintenance Facility (CVMF), Building 100 @ 945 Mt. Read Blvd. Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERIOR WINDOWS of offices and meeting spaces on the south and east sides of the building. This excludes windows in any overhead door. 1.1.14 Operations Center, Building 200 @ 945 Mt. Read Blvd. Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERNAL WINDOWS of offices and meeting spaces on the south, east, north and west sides of the building. This excludes windows in any overhead door. 1.1.15 Street Maintenance, Building 300 @ 945 Mt. Read Blvd. Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERNAL WINDOWS of offices and meeting spaces on the south, east and west sides of the building. This excludes windows in any overhead door. 1.1.16 Riverside Cemetery Chapel of Peace, 2650 Lake Ave Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERNAL WINDOWS of chapel entrance, chapel and north and south wings. 1.1.17 Riverside Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, 2650 Lake Ave Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERNAL WINDOWS of court yards glasses. 1.1.18 Riverside Cemetery Gate House, 2650 Lake Ave Clean all INTERIOR & EXTERNAL WINDOWS of office and meeting spaces on the north, south, east, and west of the building. This excludes basement windows. 1.1.19 Public Market Clean all INTERIOR AND EXTERNAL WINDOWS on B Shed, including all overhead doors, foyer glass and sidelights and all pedestrian entry doors.
