Description

The work involved with these improvements includes the maintenance and protection of vehicular and pedestrian traffic; coordination / scheduling of all work, site clearing and grading operations; cutting and removal of existing trees / vegetation; storm sewer system improvements / upgrades including approximately 175 lineal feet +/- of 15" RCP Class IV pipe reaches, construction of various types of new storm sewer structures with all appurtenances; modify / repair existing storm sewer inlets; detention basin, stormwater treatment device, rip-rap lined conduit outlet protection and approximately 275 square feet +/- of reinforced concrete low flow channel; furnishing and installation of new parking area lighting facilities including various heights of light poles, various types of light fixtures; concrete foundations, PVC conduit, handholes, wiring, connections, testing / commissioning and all other electrical appurtenances; removal / replacement of approximately 300 lineal feet +/- of existing concrete curb, the installation of approximately 450 +/- cubic yards of dense graded aggregate subbase, approximately 1,500 tons +/- of hot mix asphalt base course material; and approximately 500 tons +/- of hot mix asphalt surface course material for the new parking lot; application of approximately 2,000 lineal feet +/- of pavement stripes / markings (4" wide lines); installation of approximately 375 lineal feet +/- of 3'-2" high (2) rail vinyl (PVC) fence including double gate and wire mesh; site landscaping, furnishing and installation of topsoil / seed; and approximately 1,200 square yards +/- of slope stabilization matting, and all other preparation, restoration and associated work in accordance with the Contract Documents
