Description | Each Bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title "Main Street Parking Lot - Phase 2" and the name and address of Bidder. The project consists of site grading, sanitary sewer main and lateral installation, grout filling of the existing sanitary mainline and manhole in place, parking lot agg. base and paving, retaining wall, sidewalks, curb, and two Class III INDOT drives. The contract documents, consisting of advertisement for bids, information for bidders, bid, bid bond, agreement, general conditions, supplementatry conditions, payment bond, performance bond, notice of award, notice to proceed, change order, drawings, specifications and addenda, may be examined on or after tuesday, june 6, 2023 at the following locations: cash waggner & associates, pc, 402 e 13th street, suite 101, jasper, in 47546 city of huntingburg clerk-treasurer, 508 e. Fourth street, huntingburg, in 47542. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. This check or bond will be held by the owner as evidence that the bidder will, if awarded the contract, enter into the same with the owner upon notification from him to do so within ten (10) days of said notification. If contract is $200,000 or greater, contractor receiving award in full force and effect throughout the term of the construction project plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the substantial completion. Bonds shall be furnished at time of notice to proceed of contract. Each BIDDER must complete and submit with BID Indiana Form 96 inclusive of Non-Collusion Affidavit Standard Questionnaire and Financial Statement and other required documents as required by Indiana law. A Pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this project. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be available to discuss the project via phone. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising during the bidding process. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. |
