Description

VCC Re-Roofing Project at River Valley Community College, 1 College Drive, Claremont, NH 03743 A component of the Community College System of New Hampshire 26 College Drive, Concord, NH Project Number RVC 20-03 Description: This project consists of installation of new roofing on a portion of River Valley Community College. (Approx. 46,207 square feet of roof surface). Project includes: Removal of all existing membrane roofing, including underlayments, flashings, drip edge fascia, abandoned roof curbs, roof drain strainers, wood sleepers, etc., to expose existing rigid insulation and roof edge blocking or nailers for inspection; replace any damaged, wet, rotted or deleterious rigid insulation, wood blocking or nailers and install new rigid insulation, roofing surface, flashings, drip edge fascia with fascia extenders, retrofit roof drains, wood sleepers, etc. to provide a complete, watertight, weatherproof roofing surface. The Project will include but not be limited to the Disciplines of: Roofing and Flashing BIDDERS SHOULD ACT PROMPTLY AND SUBMIT ALL QUESTIONS IN WRITING TO: MATTHEW MOORE, DIRECTOR OF CAPITAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT, E-MAIL memoore@ccsnh.edu . Proposals must be completed in both words and figures on forms furnished by the College, or on previouslyapproved, substantially-identical forms generated by computer software, which shall be submitted electronically in an e-mail titled: "Bid for: RVC20-03 RVCC Re-Roofing Project" Companies, corporations, or trade names, except sole proprietorships must be registered with the Secretary of State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in order to do business with the State of New Hampshire. Bidders must show three recent years' experience with installations of a similar complexity and cost and prior experience with installations of the materials within 100 miles of the project site. The successful bidder will be required to comply with State of New Hampshire RSA#21-1:81-a. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% payment and 100% performance bond prior to execution of contract. The award will be based on the proposal that best meets the needs of the college. Factors included will be the cost, completeness of the proposal, quality of the technology provided, and experience of the contractor and installation team. The college reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all proposals. CCSNH reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in its best interest or to reject any or all proposals.
