Port of Albany Expansion - Marine Facilities

The project is located in the Town of Bethlehem, New York. The work for this project is generally described as the Marine Facilities on the Port of Albany Expansion, generally involving dredging and heavy quay/wharf construction located on the west bank of the Hudson River. Marine Facilities on the Port of Albany Expansion Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilization and Demobilization, Environmental Protection, Contractor Quality Control Procedures, Design of certain components of the Work, Inspection and Testing of the Work, Demolition, Earthwork, Dredging and Dredge Disposal, Rock for Slope Protection, Rock Probes, Steel Pipe Piling, Drilled Shafts, High-Modulus Steel Sheet Piling, Coating of Steel Waterfront Structures, Pile Testing, Shaft Testing, Cast-in-Place Structural Concrete, Precast Prestressed Concrete, Structural Welding /Weld Testing, Miscellaneous Metal Fabrications, Wharf Mooring Bollards, Marine Fender Systems, Laminated Rubber Fenders, Dense Graded Aggregate Base and Surface Courses, High-Mast Lighting, Other Civil and Structural devices, appurtenances, and elements of work as indicated on the project plans and as described in the Contract Documents. Electrical Service and Distribution Systems associated with High-Mast Lighting are to be provided by others and are Not in Contract.
