Description | The project includes demolishing existing dry pipe sprinkler system in the attic space including but not limited to piping, fittings, hangers, sprinklers, dry pipe valves, butterfly valves, and related devices in the riser room. New dry pipe sprinkler system(s) shall be provided, including new grooved butterfly valves, dry pipe valves, and all other components for new working dry system(s). Air supply shall be provided with a nitrogen generator set capable of supporting entire dry system(s) for the attic Replace Dry Pipe Sprinkler System at Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center This Section includes requirements for infection control in environments that Clients are housed in, dine in, or participate in program activities in or adjacent to the Scope of Work area 1. The Contractor shall have the applicable measures specified below in-place any time demolition or construction activities occur in occupied or non-occupied project work areas. 2. The Contractor shall complete all specified cleaning procedures and receive clearance from the Construction Representative prior to removing any barriers and other precautionary measures even for areas that the Clients do not occupy during construction. The contract performance time is 150 working days from the transmittal date of this agreement. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 20 working days subsequent to the specified bid opening time. The contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and as set out in the detailed plans and specifications. |
