Caverna Independent Schools Secure Entrance Improvements

At High/Middle School: The work consists of adding new hollow-metal doors and frames to create a vestibule in the existing lobby providing a secure entrance with access controlled in the reception area. Renovation to the existing administration area including new toilet in nurse’s office and misc. upgrades to finishes. At Elementary School: The work consists of changing out door hardware with electric magnetic hold opens at doors to cafeteria, administration, and corridors to classroom wings to enable locking functions remotely from the reception area. The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, door hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient floor tile, paintings, HVAC, electrical (power, communication, and lighting) systems, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris.
