Boiler Replacement - Facilities Management Department

1. Provide and install (2) Harsco Industrial P-K Mach® / Nuro® - C-1050 – Natural Gas series condensing boilers. 2. Provide and install all necessary properly sized AL29-4C Double Wall vent pipe for new boilers to be routed through same chase as existing vent piping to manufacture specifications. Note that boiler downtime will need to be minimal for one of the two boilers during the installation process 3. Provide and install all necessary hot water piping to tie new boilers into existing system. 4. Provide and install all necessary gas piping to tie new boilers into existing utility. 5. Removal and disposal of existing boilers to be replaced. 6. Provide and install (2) 2 hp end suction, inverter ready circulator pumps to replace existing associated pumps. (rated at 66 GPM @ 40’ head). 7. Provide condensate neutralizers and condensate pipes to be routed to floor drain in mechanical room. 8. Provide start-up report and warranty information to the County of Augusta pursuant with P-K Mach® Specific Limited Warranty. 9. Coordination with BAS contractor on startup for testing. 10. Existing current sensors and enable relays are to be relocated to the new boilers. 11. Provide and install two (2) each Honeywell C7041D2001 sensors and 50001774-001 thermowells to be installed on the hot water outlet side of each boiler to replace of the existing surface mount temperature sensors. 12. Relocate (1) existing hot water return line, that currently terminates into main return header above boiler to a point better suited due to pressure and temperature reference for existing electronic balancing valve. 13. Re-insulate all related piping that was removed for installation
