| Description | The intent is to provide alternate generator power to the Transit Warehouse during power outages. By having a contractor install (at the Generator Transfer Switch, POLE #4) electrical conduit, weather head, associated hardware, 3 conductors of THHN copper wire, size 2/0 for 3 phase 480vac power connected to the Load Side of the Alternate Source (Generator) Switch and ground wire. Install the BRF supplied Quad Wire from POLE #4 in the air (about 500 foot) to the Transit Warehouse Weather Head at POLE# 1. To remove 3 existing 7.2KV/480VAC transformers that are currently providing electrical power to the Transit Warehouse and dispose of in accordance to state and local laws. Also remove an unused 4” conduit and 400amp disconnect, leave on site for BRF responsibility. |
