Bids have been rejected, and proejct will rebid sometime in the future*** Work of this contract consists of six separate structures: Structure 01, Shop and Hall: 11,592 s.f. new construction to serve the Town of Hamilton as garage for DPW vehicles and as town hall. The building is to be part precast panel and part wood framing with cultured stone and metal panel. Structure 02, Gate House: 204 s.f. new construction of wood framing with metal siding to serve as shelter for the attended of the DPW yard. Structure 03, Recycle Building: 1680 s.f. new construction of free-standing recycle shed with concrete push walls and columns and wood construction above with metal panel exterior to house roll off dumpsters for recyclable materials. Structure 04, Sand and Salt Shed: 2240 s.f. new construction of free-standing sand and salt storage shed with 8ft heigh concrete push walls and wood construction above with metal panel exterior Structure 05, Cold Storage: 3046 s.f. new construction of free-standing, unheated pole barn of wood construction with metal panel exterior for storage. Structure 06, Dumpster Ramp: 1400 s.f. new construction of concrete up ramp and below grade areas for waste dumpsters. Also included in this project are site improvements which include concrete and asphalt pavement, new gate for the yard, storm sewer, and earthwork. A single lump sum bid will be required for all of the work.
