| Description | The Project Scope generally includes complete removal and replacement of existing shingle roofing and EPDM roofing materials, and replacement with new insulated shingle and PVC roofing systems including but not limited to: nailboards, cover boards, rigid insulation, high-temperature ice and water shield underlayment, vapor barrier, and associated treated wood blocking, decking and metal flashings; zinccoated copper box gutters, and associated scuppers, flashing, and fasciae, storm drains and risers; temporary removal and reinstallation of mechanical and electrical equipment to accommodate reroofing work; new insulated roof dormer window; masonry work for roof counter flashings; and miscellaneous interior slab/ceiling work to accommodate roof installation. Alternates include an upgrade to the roof structure attachments, and replacement of the existing lightning protection system. DCAMM Certificate Required. Estimated Construction Cost for Trade: Plumbing - $50,000, Electrical - $30,000. |
