Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted In general the work consists of removal of existing asphalt built-up and spray-polyurethane foam roof membrane and related flashings, and insulation down to the structural roof deck. A new vapor retarder, tapered insulation system and fully-adhered EPDM roof system shall be installed atop the prepared substrate. New roof-related sheet metal flashings shall be installed in conjunction with the roof replacement on the low-slope areas. The steep-slope work consists of removal of existing asphalt shingle roof system and related flashings. A new nail base shall be installed atop the prepared substrate with a new standing seam sheet metal roof system and related flashings shall then be installed. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. In general, the low-slope work consists of removal of existing asphalt built-up and SPF roof membrane and related flashings, and insulation down to the structural roof deck. A new vapor retarder, tapered insulation system and fully-adhered EPDM roof system shall be installed atop the prepared substrate. New roof-related sheet metal flashings and new internal roof drains shall be installed in conjunction with the roof replacement. The steep-slope work consists of removal of existing asphalt shingle roof system and related flashings. A new nail base shall be installed atop the prepared substrate with a new standing seam sheet metal roof system and related flashings shall then be installed.
