| Description | The general scope of services required is, but not necessarily limited to: 1. Perform an initial audit at each playground located within the DeKalb County park system. 2. Identiy hazards on public playground equipment. 3. Rank the hazards according to injury potential. 4. Apply the knowledge to remove the hazards and establish a system of inspections. 5. Complete a safety inspection form for each playground inspected once the initial audit is completed. The requency of the inspections will depend on the age of the playground equipment. 6. Establish a routine inspection system for DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department. 7. Perform audits for new playgrounds that are installed as part of the inal walk through with the manufacturer. 8. Coordinate with the playground manufacturer of each playground to obtain estimates for any repairs necessary. 9. Assist in repair work when retroit may be necessary and if removal of hazardous equipment is needed. 10. Assist Park Services in high requency inspections as necessary. 11. Record keeping for compliance documents, including inspection reports, manufacturers and installers. 12. Injury reports | ||||||||
