Floyd County Housing Rehab Project

Minority-Owned and Female-Owned Business Notice Floyd County is preparing to carry out the Floyd County Housing Rehab Project through the use of Virginia Community Development Block Grant Funds. In the implementation of this project the following kinds of contracts will be issued, and procurements made: a. construction to include single-family rehabilitation, demolition/ grading, and substantial reconstruction (new construction) b. subcontracts may include framing, roofing, electric, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, accessibility features, and siding Floyd County is soliciting the participation of minority-owned and female-owned businesses, contractors and suppliers in carrying out this project. Requests should state the name, address, product or service, and how the firm qualifies as a minority or female owned business concern. Such businesses may be included on appropriate bid and procurement lists by submitting a written request within ten (10) days of this notice.
