Purchase and Remove House at 2218 W. 6 th Ave. Bids must be securely SEALED in a catalog envelope (i.e., 9 x 12 manila or white mailing envelope) and either mailed or delivered. No faxed or emailed Bids will be considered. Bids received after the stated date and time will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Any bid received by the City Clerk more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for the opening of bids, or any bid so received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened to the bidder submitting same (10%) of the bid price in non-refundable certified funds must accompany each bid in the form of a bid deposit made payable to the City of Stillwater. The balance of the successful high bid will be due in certified funds within thirty (30) calendar days after award of the bid by the City Council. All deposits submitted by non-successful bidders will be returned after said approval. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids if such action would be in the best interest of the City. The successful bidder will be required to furnish all labor and equipment at their own risk and expense necessary for the removal of the house within a period of sixty (60) days after notification of acceptance of bid by the City. Anything left behind for more than sixty (60) days after the date of acceptance of bid will be considered as abandoned, and the City shall have the right to dispose of abandoned property in any matter whatsoever and retain the payment submitted by the bidder. Bidder guarantees the price stated below for sixty (60) days from bid opening date. This bid will become a binding Contract only after acceptance by City of Stillwater and Contractor. No other fees or interest will be included in this agreement.
