Description | As of March 2, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, construction of a new finished water storage tank, water main upgrades, new booster pump station, well pump improvements, new/upgraded instrumentation and controls, and appurtenances. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for Contract No. TB-2022-G, and will include alternate bid item(s) as indicated in the Bid Form. This project will be using NYS EFC funding. Compliance with the NYS EFC Program Requirements and Bid Packet for Construction Contracts (For projects funded with NYS Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Effective November 1, 2021) will be required and include a 20% MWBE participation goal and American Iron and Steel requirements. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the maximum bid price, as determined by adding the base bid and all alternatives, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804).
