Description

Provide custodial services at the Kiowa Parking Garage, Mountain Metro Transit (MMT) bus terminal area per the specifications * Offices and restrooms * Interior and exterior common areas * Bus bays and adjacent sidewalks * Floors, walls and other surfaces * Furniture, equipment and fixtures 1. Provide a clean, sanitized, hygienic and visually pleasing environment 2. Carry out specified duties, such as waste collection, snow removal, general cleaning, etc. 3. Meet the defined standards of cleanliness 4. Use cleaning supplies that are designed to aid in the fight from spreading germs 5. All cleaning supplies and consumables provided by Contractor at their expense 6. Meet with City representatives on an as needed basis 7. Maintain a clean appearance of the downtown bus terminal 8. Remove cigarette butts, litter, and graffiti within the terminal premises 9. Notify City of Colorado Springs of any vandalism including damage or graffiti that cannot be removed by custodial staff 10. Daily and constant cleaning of the terminal areas listed above 11. Remove snow/ice and debris from sidewalks, bus bays and interior areas to keep pavement slip and slush free. 12. Apply ice melt as needed (consumable provided by the contractor at their expense) 13. Storefront windows will be kept clean inside and out at all times 14. Power wash sidewalks, benches and awnings once per month as weather permits 15. VCT floors will be stripped and waxed once every 3 months 16. Mop floors as needed to remove foot traffic debris 17. Scrub and rinse ceramic tile floor monthly 18. Perform recurring cleaning of restrooms, especially between bus departure/arrival 19. Use wet floor signs to warn public of possible hazards 20. Use appropriate measures to notify public of restroom closures or lobby restrictions in order to perform custodial maintenance 21. Clean bus lane floor drain grates/basket traps (3 ea) quarterly 22. Do not leave custodial supplies/chemicals unattended to protect the public 23. Remove sterile gloves while using common door knobs, key pads, appliances etc.
