https://bcrp.baltimorecity.gov/projects-and-improvements Chick Webb Memorial Recreation Center Address: 1401 East Monument Street aka 623 North Eden Street, 21205 Project Managers: Lance Decker, RA, NCARB, LEED AP Kate Brower, MSUP, MLA Received CHAP approval on August 10, 2021 Design Development drawings completed Sept 2021 Exhibit Working Committee to discuss historical themes and art, first meeting scheduled for September 20, 2021 Construction Document phase on track Anticipated construction starts January 2023. ______________________________________________________ Principal Items of work for this project are Selective demolition of existing site amenities and small portions of existing structure; modifications to, and establishment of new site utilities; interior and exterior restoration and renovation of existing recreation center; construction of a new addition; provision of new sitework including paving, landscaping, fencing, playground, lighting, and signage. The MBE goal is 27% and WBE goal is 10%. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All contractors bidding on this Contract must first be prequalified by the City of Baltimore Contractors Qualification Committee.
