Description Contractor shall provide a complete head-end fire alarm control unit (FACU) to upgrade to the Siemens XLS (FACU). This project is a design build project and included providing all engineering, programming, labor, testing and commissioning. The contract shall be divided into two phases, the design phase and the construction phase. Each phase shall have a notice to proceed. Design phase includes verification of all field devices to ensure that these devices shall remain compatible and working as part of the new total system upon completion. Design phase also included development of proposed Fire Alarm Control Unit drawings. Contractor to provide price option for moving amplifiers to locations throughout the building. All drawings shall be approved by GSA Fire Protection Office before material is purchased and construction phase begins. The design work shall fulfill the scope of work requirement for each technical discipline.
