No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, NOR SPECIFICATIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Norfolk District, US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking qualified, experienced firms capable of performing building construction services. Required services include hazardous material testing, demolition of a 600-square-foot building, construction of a 3,200-square-foot building, grading and general site work. Optional services include providing shore power service, emergency generator power and pavement improvements. The project will be located in Great Bridge, Virginia. In accordance with FAR 36/DFARs 236, the estimated construction price range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. [NAICS Code 236220] applies. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Firm's response to this Synopsis shall be limited to 5 pages and shall include the following information. 1. Firm's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2. Firm's interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued. 3. Firm's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity (include firm's capability to execute construction, comparable work performed within the past 5 years): Brief description of the project, (customer name, timeliness of performance, and dollar value of the project) - provide at least 3 examples. 4. Firm's Business Size - LB, SB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or WOB. 5. Firm's Joint Ventures (existing), including Mentor Protégés and teaming arrangement information is acceptable. 6. Firm's Bonding Capability (construction bonding level per contract and aggregate construction bonding level, both expressed in dollars) via letter from bonding company. Please only include a narrative of the requested information. Additional information will not be reviewed. This Sources Sought Synopsis should not be construed in any manner to be an obligation of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District to issue a contract, or result in any claim for reimbursement of costs for any effort you expend responding to this request. No solicitation is currently available. USACE Norfolk District is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals and will not accept telephone inquiries. No reimbursement will be made to any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
