Description | The City of Depoe Bay, Oregon is soliciting bids for the fabrication and delivery of aluminum boarding floats for the Boarding Float Replacement Project to be located at Depoe Bay Launch Ramp. The City of Depoe Bay reserves the right to reject any bid not in conformity with the bid requirements, or the right to reject all bids if it is in the best interest of the City of Depoe Bay. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Location for delivery is at Depoe Bay Ramp, City of Depoe Bay, Oregon 97341. B. Major project components are as follows: o Fabrication of aluminum boarding docks to replace existing wood docks. o Delivery to a storage site at Depoe Bay Ramp as specified by the Owner. C. Removal of old docks and installation of new docks are not part of this project. D. Project is for the City of Depoe Bay, referred to hereafter as Owner. E. The work under this item shall consist of all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to fabricate, assemble and furnish aluminum boarding docks, transition plates, pile pockets, external pile hoops and all other miscellaneous dock items as shown on the plans. Work may also include the fabrication of a steel abutment hinge assembly if required. F. Work also includes the delivery and off-loading of the dock system at the site of installation. Work does not include the installation of the dock system. Each completed 6'x20' dock has a theoretical dry weight of approximately 3,800 lbs. |
