Description

Reference Number 0000327587 The Town of Amherst operates a housing rehabilitation program that is funded with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds. Federal regulations pertaining to lead-based paint hazard evaluation, including paint testing and risk assessment, and clearance testing following completion of rehabilitation work, applies to the housing rehabilitation program operated by the Town. The Town also completes mold, asbestos and radon testing for homes that have mold or homes that may contain asbestos or radon.
